Hi — I’m James. I’m a writer, illustrator, and generally well‑meaning human who’s been drawing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. I like creating work that feels easygoing and human — the small everyday moments that make me laugh. Most of my process is low‑tech: pencils, pens, copy paper, a scanner, and a lot of coffee.
I live in Connecticut, which is a real place. I’m usually surrounded by books, music, half‑finished doodles, and whatever thought I’m currently talking to myself about. My influences are classic newspaper comics, beefy men, and people who don’t realize how funny they are.
