Writer, illustrator, reluctant adult.
Since 1995, I’ve been chronicling the quiet lives of Adam (mild neurotic), Andy (cheerful slob), and Baxter (spoiled beagle), plus assorted neighbors and uninvited guests. I sketch by hand, scan them with hope, and post every Monday like a clock that occasionally forgets daylight savings.
I live in Connecticut, which is a real place. I enjoy coffee, naps, and talking to myself when writing dialogue. My artistic influences include newspaper comics, awkward silences, and beefy men.
Adam & Andy is a comic about nothing much, which is exactly the point. It celebrates the mundane, the mildly inconvenient, and moments that make you snort-laugh when no one’s around. Feel free to write me at james [at] adamandandy.com.
