It's been a year

Yo, hi, hey, ayo, sup to "Adam & Andy" readers near & far. Thank you for supporting my work over the years. "Adam & Andy" is more than a hobby, it's my passion. I sincerely appreciate your kind words and drops in the tip jar. Your generosity pays for things like webhosting fees, paper, pens, etc. And coffee, of course!

On a personal note, some of you are aware, my partner of 37 years passed away early last year. To say it was the worst thing I've ever endured would be an understatement. I'm sure many or all of you out there can relate to the awful experience of losing someone close. I am lucky to have the greatest family and friends to help me through.

My husband was my biggest cheerleader and champion when it came to supporting and encouraging my drawing. Of course, I had to continue the comic but man, I had no idea what a struggle it would be.

Oh, I fell behind -- weeks, months -- I lost focus a few times and was tempted to give up. I'm glad I didn't.
